TECHNOLOGY SERVICES (UITS)

As a Graphic Designer at UITS (University Information Technology Services) at Indiana University, my role involves creating visually compelling designs that enhance the university's digital communication efforts. You collaborate with various departments to develop marketing materials, user interfaces, and branding elements that align with the university's mission and values.

Responsibilities include conceptualizing and executing design projects from inception to completion, using software such as Adobe Creative Suite. Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure my designs meet the needs of both students and faculty. Provide insights into design trends and techniques that can elevate the visual identity of UITS.

Staying current with advancements in graphic design and technology is essential, as this knowledge informs my work and fosters innovation while maintaining a consistent style guide to ensure brand coherence across all visual materials. This work directly impacts user engagement and helps to communicate complex information in an accessible and appealing manner, reflecting the dynamic and forward-thinking culture at Indiana University.

Indiana University annually hosts the Statewide IT Conference. In 2025, I developed the graphics and presentation materials, ensuring a cohesive design that adhered to brand guidelines. Attached is the complete presentation.

Promotional campaign to highlight the utilization of digital CrimsonCards for students and faculty. The package encompasses social media assets, table tents, banners, postcards, posters, and web materials.

Weekly TechThursday socials aim to enhance engagement with students and faculty through strategic graphic design. A structured weekly plan will be implemented to create visually compelling graphics that align with relevant narratives in the tech field. This initiative seeks to foster community involvement and interest in technological advancements and discussions.

Revitalize and strategically rebrand our efforts to effectively promote the new software to both students and faculty members. We seek an innovative and contemporary approach that not only captures attention but also allows for some flexibility within the established brand guidelines to ensure broad appeal and engagement.

Conduct bi-weekly monitoring of IT news and developments. Develop accompanying graphics for each article to enhance comprehension and engagement.

Developed graphics for online platforms and social media aimed at promoting the utilization of CrimsonCash among students during the spring break period.
